In the game, Lara must master a deadly jungle, overcome terrifying tombs, and persevere through her darkest hour. According to the company, as she races to save the world from a Mayan apocalypse, Lara will ultimately be forged into the Tomb Raider she is destined to exist.

Today, extended footage surfaced online. The Xbox One X gameplay showcases a small city packed with ethnic people who appear to exist cutting off from the rest of the world.
